A 19th century Swiss, burr walnut, organ celeste type music box, the well figured and tulipwood crossbanded box, enclosing an air sheet listing 12 airs, including 'Le Talisman', 'La fille du Regiment' and 'La Traviata', numbered '22581' and '60', with a 49.5cm cylinder, a few chips on lower edges of case, 81cm wide

Condition Report

Case - overall good. Well figured and of a good colour. Some minor chips, including 1cm x 0.5cm on lower left side, lower right side and 5cm x 0.5cm on back lower edge. Some minor restoration, including barely noticeable 2cm x 0.5cm section of veneer on right side of top.

Movement - looks good and no visible damage to cylinder or combs. Appears sound, but not played all airs. Prospective buyers will need to satisfy themselves as to the condition and sound production of the movement.
