A small RAF photograph album, comprising forty-seven photographs of service in Egypt and Italy in late 1918 onwards, 6cm x 3.5cm, with some captions. Compiled by Flight Cadet Leonard Joseland after his attachment to 17 Training Depot Station on the 7th December 1918. Photographs include group portraits of airmen, and aeroplanes such as R.E.8, Beardmore, D.H.6, and Bristol Fighters, housed in a small Art Nouveau-style green photograph album, size 16cm high x 11.5cm wide. Sold together with Joseland's 'Field Service Pocket Book, 1914', named to the interior.
Notes: Leonard Joseland of High Croft Kidderminster enlisted in the Royal Air Force on the 4th of June 1918. He returned home to the U.K. on the S.S. Bermudian on the 12th of February 1919.
