A Chinese bronze figural incense burner, Qing Dynasty, separately cast after the Ming as Shoulao seated on a stag, the beast's head raised and turned to the left, the immortal wearing flowing robes and holding a scroll in his left hand. Footnote: A similar example from the Ming Dynasty was sold at Bonhams Knightsbridge rooms, 12 May 2014, lot 621.
