Two Caughley and French egg cups

A Caughley egg or ice cup
circa 1785-90
the bell form bowl raised on conical spreading foot, painted underglaze blue and gilded with Dresden Flowers, with an interior blue and gilt border, painted S mark, 6.1cm high (cracked)
together with a French 'Sevres' polychrome egg or ice cup, painted interlaced L mark, 6.5cm high (2) (chipped)

Condition Report

The Caughley ice cup has a significant Y-shaped descending from rim and into the body. The French polychrome cup has chips and nibbles to the foot rim.
