A Collection of 19th Century Portrait Miniatures

A collection of seven 19th century portrait miniatures. A double portrait possibly George III and Queen Charlotte, both wearing powdered wigs, the king wearing a red jacket with blue sash, brooch and white stock, the queen in a pale blue dress and ermine cloak over her right shoulder, watercolour on enamel in an inlaid setting, each image measures 3 x 2.5 cm, the setting measuring 8 x 9 cm, together with a small miniature copy of Beatrice Cenci after Guido Reni measuring 4 x 3 cm in a standing frame, an oval miniature of a gentlewoman in 17th century style dress measuring 6 x 4.5 cm, a miniature brooch of a gentlewoman wearing a purple dress of 18th century style measuring 4.8 x 4 cm, a watercolour on card miniature of a gentlewoman in a red dress with Regency style hairstyle in a standing frame, measurements 4.5 x 4 cm (i), a watercolour miniature of a classical scene showing a woman holding flowers standing next to a Doric style marble column with two doves, measurements 6.5 x 4.5 cm and a further miniature of a gentlewoman wearing a pale blue dress, measurements 7 x 6 cm (7)
