A scarce Chilean Naval Officer's sword, based on the British 1827 Pattern
the hilt of gilded brass terminating in a lion's head pommel, with folding and locking counterguard and Chilean Navy anchor and star to the hilt, wire-bound shagreen grip,
with a 74cm slightly-curved Toledo blade dated 1883, overall length of sword 90cm, housed in the original leather and brass scabbard with two loose suspension rings and complete with sword knot
