An early 20th century domed wicker trunk, by John.J.Plater & Sons, the lid metal bound, with leather straps and a brass plaque on the lid 'John.J.Plater & Sons, Manufacturers, Bradford Street, Birmingham', with an oval brass lock 'John.J.Plater & Sons Makers Birmingham', with original canvas lining, with same stencilled maker's name, the front with painted initials 'BHB', lacking tray and one handle, some damage, live woodworm, 73cm wide x 52cm deep x 54cm high

Condition Report

Lacking elements, including, left handle and interior tray. Damage, including inevitable splits and breaks etc. to some canes, leather straps worn and with scuffing, some perishing etc. - all consistent with age and use. LIVE WOODWORM. Woodworm damage.
