A 17th century oak coffer, the twin panel top with an ovolo moulded edge, above a nulled frieze and three double foliate 'S' scroll panels, bordered by chequer banding, on extended stiles, 125 x 54 x 60.5cm high

Condition Report

Stiles reduced, front left stile frassed on inner side and lacking 4cm moulding, lacking candle box and later hinges, top reinforced with braces, old splits and cracks, dents etc consistent with age and use, some inlay restored/replaced
