19th Century Military Watercolour from the Hindostan 76th Regiment, inscribed this gurrah was captured in the Indian campaign under Lord Lake, September 1803, measurements 40 x 50 cm (i), frame 51 x 61 cm. Hindostan regiment LC XVI Laswaree peninsula.

Condition Report

Paper has heavy foxing and mould, having been kept in damp conditions. The paper otherwise does not show obvious evidence of rips, tears or creasing. There is fading to the paint colours.
