Copeland parian bust of Edward Prince of Wales

A Copeland parian bust of Edward Prince of Wales, published May 1876, sculpted by L.A. Malempre, dressed in Masonic regalia,

Condition Report
Graze to the tip of one end of a bow on his shoulder, and a small nick and speckled dust or kiln grit to the opposing end of the same bow. The bow on the opposite shoulder has a chip and a hairline, with a further hairline and a small chip to the lower portion of the ribbon.


Grey scratch just above the bridge of the bust's nose and a few small black spots on the nose. One small dark brown hairline to the collar. There are some nibbles around the edge of the socle where it meets the bust. The interior of his coat has a long descending firing crack to either side, and there is a further small chip to the edge of his loose collar. The lower portion of his front regalia has some further small chips to the edges. The bust has probably been re-bolted to socle, there is a wide open firing crack visible to the underside of the base.

Some light scuffs and scratches elsewhere. Needs cleaning. See additional images.
