A pair of percussion pocket pistols
with 6cm rifled Damascus barrels, concealed triggers, foliate engraved frames and walnut butts, the underside of barrels stamped "G",
overall length 17cm, together with one brown leather holster (3)
Sold as an exempt item under Section 58 (2) of the 1968 Firearms Act, to be held as a curiosity or ornament.
Sold for £290
One pistol will let the hammer go to full cock but trigger no longer fires, the second trigger will hold at full and half cock and the action works. Otherwise condition is generally fair, there are a few minor knocks to the grips and some minor nicks/pitting to the fore ends of the barrels, but generally much of the original Damascus has been retained. There is also one very small chip to one side of the grip. The barrels are turn off but they are seized.
