An assorted group of art pottery late 19th and early 20th century, comprising Bretby: a Secessionist style vase, green glaze, shape number 1565, impressed marks, 34cm high (handle cracked); a cauldron-shaped jardiniere, raised on three feet, shape number 2296, 18cm diameter; two similar black Clanta vases, 2421; a vase decorated with birds, a circular dish or bowl, 14cm diameter; a yellow and green jardiniere with frilled upper rim, 23.5cm diameter and a further smaller jardiniere or planter decorated with a dragon, impressed marks, 13cm diameter; four Leeds art pottery vases, including a pair of bottle form with slender necks, the shaded green grounds painted with white flowers and foliage, impressed factory marks and '160 / 4146', 30cm high, two similarly decorated Burmantofts vases; and a group of principally stoneware, including a tall Royal Doulton relief-moulded jug with silver-mounted rim, hallmarked Chester 1904, 23.5cm high; three Lovatt's vases, 20.5cm high; a Doulton Lambeth Slater's Patent vase with crimped rim, 9.5cm high; a miniature Doulton Lambeth harvest jug, 7.5cm high; a Doulton-type mug, with maskhead terminal to the handle, 14cm high; a tobacco jar and cover, green glazed with brown ridges, 15cm high; two further smaller Lovatt's vessels, 6.5cm high; a Doulton Lambeth vase by Mary Denley and Josephine Durtnall, decorated with formal ribbons and swags against a textured ground, 14.5cm high; sold together with a Victorian muffineer, a florally decorated vase on three raised feet, marking indistinct but possibly Leeds Art pottery, and a German stoneware pitcher (mixed group, damages and repairs)

Condition Report

Green Seccessionist vase - Crack around one handle, firing crack around the other. Glaze crazing all over. Drilled with a hole to be used as a lamp base.

Burmantofts vase with numerous chips to rim

Pair - Crazing to the Leeds vases but no signs of damages or repairs
