A Chinese Blue and White Sleeve Vase

A large Chinese blue and white sleeve vase, Gu

Kangxi

Of near cylindrical form with slightly swollen centre section and gently flaring rim, decorated with the 'one hundred antiques' pattern of scattered precious and auspicious objects, lingzhi fungus mark within a double ring.

Condition Report

Restoration to a hair crack running down from the rim and curling round. Fine tail end of the crack remains visible and no further damage or filling in beneath the restored area detectable. In addition there are two very small rim chips and two small chips to the base just above the foot rim.
