A Caughley 'Bright Sprigs' oval platter, circa 1782-92, of oval form with recessed moulded to the inner border, painted in bright, underglaze blue with the floral sprigs, single blue line border to the edge, nice bold impressed 'SALOPIAN' mark to the reverse, a relatively common pattern but an unusual shape, 32cm wide

Condition Report

Good condition with no damages or repairs. Some light surface scratches to the glaze commensurate with age and use.
