A rare Caughley vase
circa 1785-90,
of baluster form, painted in polychrome with mixed fruit and flowers attributed to George Davis, a smaller group and sprigs to the rear, with border of linked gilt ovals to the neck and further band of gilding to the rim,
unmarked, 13cm high (gilding rubbed)

Provenance: Caughley Polychrome Exhibition 2005 no. 23.

Condition Report
There is generally some rubbing to both the gilding and the decoration, though there are no cracks, chips, damages or any repairs.
