WW2 RAF Aircraft clocks - MK.IIC and MKII B ER

AVIATION - Second World War Aircraft instruments - An RAF / Air Ministry Mk.IIC cockpit clock, Stores Ref. 6a/1104, dial 5.5cm diameter, with self-starting 8-day movement, part luminous Arabic dial, as used in some models of Ansons, Beaufighters, Spitfires, Sunderlands, etc, serial mark 15870/41 (1941), with AM crown to backplate (glass at fault); An 8-Day MK II B ER aircraft cockpit clock, serial number 1140/43 (1943), part luminous dials and hands, AM marked to reverse (2)

Condition Report

MK.IIC - Bruise to crystal, runs with encouragement but mainspring is fully wound at time of inspection. Dial is slightly loose in housing with slight movement, probably just needs re-seating. Lume depleted.

MKIIB - movement in better fetters; winds, sets and runs (not inspected internally but can hear it runs). The hands may have been re-finished or replaced
