Gifted by the artist to the vendor's father.

Footnote:

Laurence Biddle specialised in floral still lives, exhibiting at the Royal Academy, the Royal Society of British Artists and latterly in America. In the 1940s he moved to Montgomery, Wales.

Unexamined out of glazed frame. Frame and oil appear ok.
