Taxidermy: a full lion skin rug with head

Taxidermy: African male lion (Panthera leo), circa 1930, skin rug with head mount, mouth agape, unbacked, 296cm nose to tail, 203cm across the fore-limbs, inked number 1660 to the back.

Condition Report

Generally fair overall. Losses to fur on snout and ears. Small patches of fur loss to head. Minor scars to flanks. Tail complete. Losses to back right paw/claws. Claws (all seemingly partial): FL-5, FR-5, BL-3, BR-1. No backing.
