A pair of late French Empire mahogany framed brass-strung bergere tub chairs, each later upholstered in cream striped brocade material and raised on square tapering legs mounted with classical motifs, the forelegs terminating in sabots, 63 cm wide, 85 cm high, seat depth 50 cm.

Condition Report

Later upholstered, lacking mounts to back legs (if ever present), rear of one frame cracked, minor chips to both frames throughout, dents to brass stringing / inlay. General wear and tear commensurate with age and use.
