boldly decorated in the Japanese taste with three fan-shaped panels of swooping birds reserved against an overall turquoise ground, enamelled over-glaze with red, pink and purple flowers with other foliage, impressed marks, painted pattern number 5584 in blue,

Condition Report
One very faint hairline visible to the interior, near the handle. Otherwise, condition is good and there are no further damages or any repairs. There is no crazing to the glaze and the raised enamels are in a good order with no missing sections or losses. There are just a couple of patches of very light wear to the gilding of the rim or the cup.
