Condition Report

The painting is an oil on canvas, framed without glazing. There is loss of tension to the canvas, a number of patches verso from previous repairs, a tear to the upper left edge, a number of surface dents. The paint surface as some paint losses, craquelure, scuffs and scratches. There is fading of the paint colours, surface accretions and dirt throughout. A number of abrasions are present. The frame has general wear and tear, surface scratches and chips, the plaque on the bottom is much faded and barely legible
