An English earthenware char dish manufactured by Charles Hobson and Son, Albert Street Pottery, Burslem, circa 1865-80, of shallow circular form, transfer-printed and hand-coloured with three fish to the exterior, impressed marks, 16.5cm diameter

Condition Report

Staining and crazing, scratches and typical signs of use. A small glazed-over manufacturing flaw to the rim and a hairline descending from the rim, approximately 1.8cm long.
