A Coalport dessert service, pattern 3/710, circa 1840, centrally painted with fruit, flowers, winged insects and snails, the grey borders with foliate details in gilt, some pieces numbered, comprising a twin-handled dish, 28cm wide and six circular dessert plates, 22cm diameter; sold together with a further Coalport botanical oval dessert dish, cobalt and yellow border, pattern 4/83 30cm wide (8)

Provenance: The C.R. Pilkington Collection, exhibited at the Coalport China Works Museum.

Condition Report

Twin handled dish cracked. Some rubbing and scratches to the plates.
No damage to additional blue dish.
