A Coalport 'Cashmere' / 'Kashmir' group, late 19th/early 20th century

A Coalport 'Cashmere' or 'Kashmir' group of two teacups, a coffee cup and one saucer, circa 1891-1919, with rich gilt decoration over an apple green, iron red and cobalt blue ground, raised gold jewelling around the central reserves with small central flower designs to the centre, retailers marks for A.B Daniell, 46 Wigmore Street, London, printed green factory marks to saucer, 14.2cm diameter

Condition Report

Coffee cup - Some good re-touching to the gilding on the rim and a small patch of possible restoration below, the re-touching affecting approximately 1/4 of the gilt dentil section and related exterior. No visible original origin of damage under a bright torch.

Teacups and saucer-

Good condition with no damage or restoration. Some minor spots of flaking to some of the small gilded flowers, the gilt inner dentil rim of the and the base of the handle on the one teacup, together with further slight wear to the inner ring of the saucer, but none too disfiguring. The second teacup has crazing visible to the glaze.
