A rare Neale and Co pearlware model of Prudence, circa 1780, impressed Neale & Co, 20cm high *Taken from one of the Cardinal Virtues, Prudence is normally depicted holding holding a mirror (implying the wisdom of self-knowledge) and a snake (from Matthew 10:16: ''be ye wise as serpents'', with the Latin word for ''wise'' being ''prudentes'').
