Condition Report

The painting is an oil on canvas, framed under glazing. The paint has craquelure throughout and some flaking of the paint at the bottom with some paint loss, there is some paint loss around the edges of the mount. There is a tear above right of the sitters right shoulders about 5cm vertical. There is a small reverse puncture to the lower right in the waistcoat of the sitter and a repair to the left side of the hair above the ear. There are losses to the frame and surface wear and tear.
