Notes: The Chilean Medal was awarded to the crews of H.M.S Ajax and Exeter for assisting the people of Chile in 1939 when the largest earthquake in the nation's history hit, killing 30,000 people. Both Ajax and Exeter were involved in the famous River Plate action in December 1939.
