A canton enamel tray with figure scenes, Qing Dynasty, 18th/early 19th century, of rectangular form with re-entrant corners, the well painted with two figures, one holding a fan looking towards a pavilion with two figures standing on steps within an rock landscape garden and within borders of flowers and finger citron panels and black foliate work, the underside painted with finger citron and peony butterflies within a yellow ground band of scrolling flowers, 29.5cm wide, 18.5cm deep
