In 2013, when living in Kentish Town, Olwyn dropped a cigarette down the back of the settee, causing a serious fire. As a result many of the books in this and the following lots have suffered fire and smoke damage to varying degrees. Some have been annotated by Olwyn and a few have pages torn out.
