Richard Pendrill, known as 'Trusty Dick', together with his five brothers, conducted Charles II from the Royal Oak at Boscobel to the house of Mr Whitgreaves of Mosely. After the Restoration, to reward his loyalty, the King settled an annuity of £100 on him and his heirs for ever. Framed and glazed.
