A 19th century brass-bound writing slope, inlaid with brass stringing, the top with a rectangular brass plaque engraved ‘EM’, minor damage and restorations, 40cm wide x 25.5cm deep x 18cm

Condition Report

Restorations, including interior. Leather writing surface later. Lacking elements, including lock and ink bottles. Lacking elements of veneer, including bottom left and right edges. Top with hairline cracks, including fractured one ¾ across centre. Chips, dents and scratches consistent with age and use.
