(1) Diary of a trip to Oberammergau, the Rhine and Southern Germany. Aug. 2 - Aug. 20, 1900. (2) Diary of a trip to Sienna and Rome, March 28 - April 17, 1903, and the Scilly Isles, April 19 - 12, 1903. (3) Diary of a trip to Lucerne and the Italian Lakes, April 4 - 20, 1905. Written in a very neat hand by Sir Joseph Miles Clay (d.1949). He was head boy at Winchester, married in Lucknow in 1906 and worked for ICS. He was Knighted for his services and awarded the Star of India. Together with a large quantity of photographs of Europe in 6 albums, collected during the trips. (box)
