Notes: Dassier was heavily influenced by the Italian Masters and his output were primarily religious. He was commissioned to create six paintings illustrating the life of the Virgin for the apse of the Church of Saint Nizier in Lyon. Most have been lost, only the Visitation's location is known and hangs in the church of Saint Pierre de Vaise, Lyon.
