A Sèvres porcelain tray or 'plateau carre', of square form with a painted panel depicting three fishermen inspecting their catch beside the sea between a blue border and further Vitruvian scroll exterior pierced border, the enamelled decoration in a style similar to that of Jean-Louis Morin (active 1754-87), interlaced blue L mark, date code L, also lightly inscribed with the initials J.F, 15cm square *The vitruvian scroll is one of the earliest neo-classical details at Sèvres.
