Russell Young is a British-American contemporary artist best known for his artworks which focus on pop culture. In 2001 he created a series titled ‘Pig Portraits’ featuring celebrity and political mugshots, what Young termed ‘anti-celebrity portraits’ these included Elvis Presley, Jane Fonda and Malcolm X.
