British School (late 17th - early 18th Century) Pair of Portraits

British School (late 17th - early 18th Century) Portrait of a girl wearing a white and light blue gown with gold coloured wrap and powdered hairstyle, half length, oil on canvas, 42.5cm x 35.5cm, frame 58.5cm x 51.5cm, together with a portrait of a boy wearing a powdered periwig, blue and silver jacket with white cravat and red cloak, a pair (2), both bear attributions to Sir Peter Lely (1618-1680) on the frame

Condition Report
The portraits are both oils on canvas, framed without glazing. The canvas appears in good order, no obvious losses, holes or tears and the tension is good. The paint surface has some surface level craquelure, but appears stable and well preserved, no obvious loss or deterioration. There is surface level dirt/accretions. The frame has good age and the portraits sit well within their frames- some old repairs and cracks present. Please refer to additional photographs
