An Edwardian pale oak tailor's shop advertising chair, the panelled back with gilded lettering 'Mayfair & Co, Gents Fitted Suits, please take a seat while U wait, the back hinged verso with a fitted trouser press, with applied manufacturer's badge reading 'V.C Bond & Sons, 61 Hackney Grove, London, E.8, (patenet pending), before a caned seat raised on tapering legs united by stretchers, 94 cm high, 40 cm wide, 44 cm seat height.
