Notes: The work has been in private hands, in mid Wales, since the 1970s and this is the first time it has been on the open market. The village of Clynnog and the church depicted in the painting sits on the North coast of the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd.

The painting has no holes or tears to the canvas and has a stable paint surface.
There is some ingrained dirt to the paint surface but it is not significant.
Inscribed verso on the stretcher in pencil with the title.
