A 19th century gilt cast metal mantle clock

A 19th century gilt cast metal mantle clock, the silvered 3” dial with engraved Roman numerals, set within a decorative gilt case detailing a caped romantic figure beside an ancient spring, above a frieze decorated with a central foliate motifs flanked by birds and scrolling acanthus leaves, raised on scrolling supports, 35cm high, 25cm wide, presented on an ebonised wooden base beneath a clear glass dome, 43cm high combined.
