A scarce Coalport inkwell and cover commemorating the Coronation of King George V, 1911, the cover formed as a crown, inscribed to the interior rim 'June 22 Coronation 1911' in a gilt scroll, printed factory mark in green, registered number 390347 and painted V.6996/A; sold together with a further similar Coalport crown inkwell and cover, printed and hand coloured with flowers, each 8.5cm high (2)

Condition Report

King George V crown - some losses to gilt around finial and also to the interior bottom rim at the junction where the base meets the cover. Scratches to base and one faint hairline to the underside of the base.
Floral crown - No damages
