A scarce Coalport 'Coalbrookdale' fruit basket, circa 1830, with rare handle shape, centrally painted with birds on branches and winged insects, the rim adorned with flowers, raised on four feet, 'C'D' mark in underglaze blue, 28cm wide (some damages and losses)

Condition Report

Section of handle repaired. Two long cracks to the centre of the basket. Chips and breakage to the relief flowers and leaves. A few minor chips to the rim.
