An Islamic stucco fragment reputedly from the Alhambra Palace, Granada
Of vertical aspect and containing a partial inscription in Arabic of the Nasrid motto 'There is no victor but God', set in a custom wood frame.

According to the vendor, this fragment was acquired from the Alhambra Palace while visiting the site in the early 1980s. During the visit, restoration work was being carried out and fragments including the present lot were made available for visitors to purchase.
