A collection of Chinese mother-of-pearl gaming counters
Early 19th century
Variously shaped as fish, rectangles, ellipses and discs, finely incised with flowers and foliage around figural vignettes, some with an armorial crest, approximately 267, together with a small export lacquer box and cover.

Property of a deceased estate in Shrewsbury.

Condition Report

Approx as follows: 64 rectangular armorial, 60 fish, 45 rectangular, 50 elliptical, 15 oval, 16 shaped rectangular, 8 lobed circular, 9 plain circular
No repairs. Minor/negligible signs of age.
Lacquer box: splits to corners.
