A large original North Eastern Railway cast iron warning sign, raised white painted text on a red ground reading 'Public Warning, persons are warned not to tresspass on this railway, or any of the lines, station, works or premises connected therewith Any person so trespassing is liable to a penalty of forty shillings, C.N Wilkinson, secretary, 61 x 91 cm.

Condition Report

In original painted finish which is very brittle and fragile, flaking away.


Touches of red rust visible over the white lettering.
