An Anglo-Chinese fire screen, early 20th century
The beech frame of near square form set on plain bracket feet, inset with a series of Chinese embroidered silk garment fragments, worked with a dragon chasing a flaming pearl and further dragons to border panels, surrounded by lishui stripes and waves, 61cm wide x 72cm high.

Condition Report
Textile elements: fair to good with some minor staines and general signs of age.
Frame: Good with some cosmetic marks, dints and old scratches consistent with age and use.
