A rare Caughley 'Travellers' trio of coffee cup, tea bowl and saucer
circa 1778-85,
printed in underglaze blue with the design after Paul Sandby, further featuring a secondary print of a mother, child and dog in a landscape, below an associated double line border,
printed S mark, coffee cup 6.6cm high, teabowl 8.5cm diameter and saucer 12.1cm diameter

Provenance: Coffee cup with ex. Watney Collection paper label.

Condition Report
Slight nibbling/glaze loss to the foot rim of the coffee cup, otherwise just superficial scratches/signs of light use throughout. No damages or any repairs.
