Worked in asymmetrical coloured fabrics, applied and embroidered with flowers, birds, insects, mythical beasts and decorative motifs, signed Emma Sophia and dated 1892, the back lined with dark red silk and with a further applique cartouche inscribed 'M.H.H. from E.S.H., 1892'.

Condition Report
Some patches backing fabric has worn/frayed.  Backing cloth has worn and frayed at the bottom and top edges.  A little fading in places and there are a few pulled threads.  Please refer to images.
