An 18th century mahogany cased square piano by Johannes Pohlman, London, the case fitted with cast brass hinges and inlaid with strung satinwood and ebony borders opening to reveal keys in ivory and ebony, the internal fascia with a penworked inlaid boxwood cartouche nameplate reading Johannes Pohlman, London,1770, raised on a mahogany pegged trestle base with four legs tapering into points, 79 cm high (total) the case measuring 143 x 50 cm, 19 cm high alone.

Most keys strike but this piece requires attention before it can be deemed playable, the case is generally quite tired with various stains and cosmetic blemishes throughout, the hinges to the keyboard are sound, one the hinges to the board box requires attention, the back main hinges are sound, please see further images of the interior to assess condition and composition
