A George IV library bergere chair

A George IV library bergere chair, with moulded top rail and downswept arms on turned front supports, the back, sides and seat fully caned, raised on turned front supports capped with castors, 57cm wide x 65cm deep x 95cm high, seat height 38cm (back caning at fault).

Condition Report

Both front supports have repairs to splits. One side arm infill partially missing. Minor joint shrinkage where the arms meet the back side rails. Back needs fully re-caning. General surface wear, cosmetic marks and signs of age and use throughout.
