Condition report

No case or key, general wear and tear commensurate with daily use, note missing screw. We believe that this is eight day although there is no evidence of movement duration either way as the mechanism needs servicing. Note missing screws to the back plate. We have now removed the backplate which was held on with two screws only and there is a 'secret signature' 'Thos Cole, London'. The case is marked '1041' on the back and underneath although this number does not appear to correspond with the Cole book. There is also a scratch to the case glass
